Unfortunately, wind has causes much death and destruction . Blizzards, hurricanes, and tornadoes are particularly devastating. However, there are many benefits the wind can offer as well. It spreads the seeds of plants all over the world, and it also aids ships, boats, airplanes and balloons. Winds move moisture and heat around the world and also produce much of our weather.
How Wind Works: Warm air weighs less than cooler air, therefore, warm air will rise. When the cool air replaces the warm air, the wind will blow.
